Applications

This product is polydimethylsiloxane doubly terminated with methacryloxypropyl dimethylsilyl group. It is a free-radical polymerizable and UV-curable macromonomer.

Main applications:

1. Copolymerize with various monomers or prepolymers containing carbon-carbon double bonds to introduce polysiloxane segments into polymer backbones.

2. Chemically modify acrylic resin, polyolefin resin and UV-curable coatings to enhance weather resistance, water resistance, flexibility and oxygen permeability.

3. Reduce internal stress and surface tension of materials and finished products. Viscosity and double bond content can be customized as required.
